Finalists must then submit three 1<span class=\"s3\">\u2011pound<\/span>&nbsp;samples of roasted coffee. These are evaluated through a blind cupping process, with scores combined from both written and sensory assessments to determine the winner.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Category winners receive:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">A full<span class=\"s3\">\u2011<\/span>length feature in <i>Roast<\/i> magazine&#8217;s November\/December 2025 issue<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">A $500 USD prize<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Continued visibility on the <i>Roast<\/i> website<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Beyond the prize, the award spotlights roasters who are transforming the industry. Previous winners include <a href=\"https:\/\/wonderstate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wonderstate Coffee<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deargreencoffee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dear Green Coffee Roasters<\/a> (Macro and Micro <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2024\/10\/21\/roast-magazine-announces-2025-roaster-of-the-year-winners\/\">winners<\/a>, respectively, for 2025).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The award emphasizes quality roasting, sustainability, community impact, employee development, and equity initiatives.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Application deadline: July 23, 2025<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.roastmagazine.com\/forms\/roaster-of-the-year-application\"><b>Apply Here<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Winners will be announced in the November\/December 2025 issue of <i>Roast<\/i> magazine.
