Italian espresso equipment company Rocket Espresso launched new commercial coffee grinders and revealed new home grinders at the HostMilano event in Italy last month. (Read all of DCN’s HostMilano 2025 coverage.)
Rocket Stelvio and Stelvio Élite
The commercial machines, Rocket Stelvio and Rocket Stelvio Élite, are the brand’s tallest grinders at 638 millimeters (25.1 inches).
Rocket Stelvio features 68-millimeter flat burrs spun by a 550-watt motor, outputting 4.5 grams per second. Rocket Stelvio Élite’s 83-millimeter flat burrs and 750-watt motor make it the brand’s fastest grinder, at 6 grams per second.
Both machines feature 1.5-kilogram-capacity hoppers and 3.5-inch touchscreens. Eagle-eyed observers will notice similarities between the Stelvio grinders and the flagship Supra line of grinders by fellow Italian brand Macap. The separately owned brands have collaborated with one another on numerous occasions.
“The Stelvio grinders share the same portafilter fork and microswitch as the Macap Supra 68 and 83, as they are built upon Macap’s proven grinding technology, combined with Rocket’s exclusive design and aesthetic identity,” Rocket Espresso Marketing Specialist Francesca Troccoli told Daily Coffee News.
Shipping to customers globally now, the Stelvio in matte black is priced at €1,350 ($1,557 as of this writing) while the Stelvio Élite sells for €1,600 ($1,846).
Rocket Gravo
Rocket also revealed the Rocket Gravo grind-by-weight grinder at HostMilano. With blind 63-millimeter flat burrs, Rocket Gravo targets high-end home users but is capable of light-commercial duty, according to the company.
The Gravo stands out for its textured collar at the hopper base, inlaid side panel details, open exit chute and other stylistic elements.
“Every line of Gravo’s design has been intentionally crafted to showcase its advanced technical capabilities,” Troccoli said. “Its geometry reflects the grinder’s inner strength, while the angular construction hints at the sophisticated electronics housed within.”
Detailed specifications, pricing and an official launch date haven’t been announced.
Both new models arrive one year after Rocket launched the Spluga professional grinder at the 2024 World of Coffee event in Copenhagen. The Spluga and Rocket Bicocca espresso machine were the official machines at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship in 2024 and 2025.
“We’re focusing on the successful launch and consolidation of our latest products, including the new Stelvio, Spluga and Gravo grinders. At the same time, Rocket continues to explore and develop new technologies aimed at enhancing performance, user experience, and design innovation across our range,” said Troccoli. “Our commitment remains to refine, evolve, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in espresso craftsmanship.”
